There are pretenders among us. Geniuses with the ability to be become anyone they want to be. In 1963 a corporation known as the Centre isolated a young pretender named Jarod and exploited his genius for their research. Then one day their pretender ran away... The Pretender is the story of Jarod, a highly intelligent person who has the ability to become anything he wants to be. After being kidnapped as a child, Jarod was kept by a think tank known as "The Centre." After his escape, Jarod tries to find out who he really is and what happened to his family, all the while while helping normal people who have trouble appear in their lives. Assuming different identities and performing different careers, Jarod (Michael T.
