In Treatment follows therapist Paul Weston, his patients, and his family. Four out of five episodes focus on Paul's sessions with his patients and every fifth episode has him seeing his own therapist to discuss both the professional and the personal parts of his life. The series, based on a hit Israeli show, BeTipul, aired five nights a week for almost nine weeks on HBO in the first season. The second season, while keeping the episodic focus and weekly timeline, changed its airing schedule to two days a week.
